Equipper, Welcome Ndlovu, gives feedback on how otLIVE has been received in South African schools…
“The participation from the learners was amazing! Kids love this! otLIVE definitely develops an interest and curiosity about the Bible in the children who attend. They learn in a fun and exciting way. In fact,
they develop a passion for learning about the Bible.
Many of the children ask questions and identify with characters from the Old Testament. The hand signs are also really Important for remembering the big picture. I would like to pay tribute to the teachers who really help by regularly reviewing the material.”

– profiling a Walk Thru the Bible-supported
children’s project in Gwara-Gwara
This project is facilitated by the Agape Family Church Beira and aims to meet the spiritual as well as the physical needs of people in Gwara Gwara in the Buzi District in Mozambique. Here lives have been severely impacted by recent floods. Families have been displaced, leaving many people homeless. Lives have been lost and infrastructure destroyed.
This farming project provides for the feeding of children and their immediate families. Beneficiaries are both members of the church, as well as villagers who are in need as a result of the floods or have been placed there by the Mozambican government. With support received, the Church has been able to buy organic rice seeds and food for the beneficiaries. People who are part of the programme are also now able to produce their own food.
The programme also ministers to the spiritual needs of the community. The wife of the pastor at the Gwara Gwara Church has been running an outreach programme and has customised the content of the Bible teaching to the challenges faced by the community. We are grateful that in spite of the many natural disasters and a growing number of beneficiaries, Agape has consistently been able to conduct sessions of the outreach programme.

We praise God for the first otLIVE Instructors trained in Zimbabwe!
This was a group of 25 school teachers, pastors and children’s workers from the Harare, Victoria Falls and Bulawayo areas who were trained in August 2022.
What a joy it was to see their excitement as they learnt how to teach children the Bible! This was also an enthusiastic group that eagerly took up the challenge to master the otLIVE hand signs.
Our grateful thanks go to Pastor Jeremiah from a local church who helped to organize the training. Having previously seen a video of otLIVE being taught in Malawian schools, he felt the need for otLIVE to be taught in Zimbabwean schools too.
There is such great potential for otLIVE to reach the children in Zimbabwean schools! Please pray with us for this to be realized!
Many of these new Zimbabwean instructors have already started teaching otLIVE in schools. May many children come to know and love God and His Word through this.

These new otLIVE instructors now plan to reach children in the schools in the Kitwe area and were a very enthusiastic bunch.
They excitedly relate…
“We have been waiting for otLIVE. We have heard what is happening with otLIVE in schools in South Africa and we also wanted otLIVE in here in Zambia!”
We look forward to great reports of otLIVE in schools in Zambia!

We were never meant to live out God’s purposes alone…

Pastor Garth Lombard from Sandton Bible Church shares his experience of the 40 Days of Community Church campaign:
“Even before Covid, we identified the need to get closer as a community, and the pandemic certainly exacerbated the situation. And as we came out of Covid, we just knew that this was the right time for 40 Days of Community. We wanted to get the community spirit back again!
The 40 Days of Community Campaign really brought our church together, and as a result, many more small groups were birthed. We even started small groups for people who weren’t part of our church and were able to expose them to the Gospel. This has become part of our DNA, and now when we have visitors, we immediately invite them to join a small group.
We followed everything that the campaign suggested, and it all paid off! We also ran a clothing and blanket drive during this time which was massive – even people from outside our church community were involved.
We thank God for the wave that He brought to our church through the 40 Days of Community Campaign. He really does honour us when we are community minded! I certainly recommend this campaign to other churches.”
