SILVER RING THING’S LASTING IMPACT
“I attended a Silver Ring Thing event about ten years ago at my school. I wasn’t quite interested back then, but it left an impression on my life, that even today, I still think about.
I have been through so many things in my life. I fought against God for so long. But on the 6th of June 2017, I gave my heart to Jesus! It was the best choice I’ve ever made!
It took me this long to realise it – and now even more – I keep thinking about Silver Ring Thing! How I would have wanted to be in my current mindset, back then ten years ago.
A constant daily reminder of the commitment I’ve made to the Lord
I would like to start wearing the silver ring now. This will mean so much to me! A constant daily reminder of the commitment I’ve made to the Lord and how I want to remain abstinent from this point forward until I’m married one day. I want to commit to that now.
I guess it’s never too late to give your heart, mind and soul to our precious and holy God!”
