Profiling Kairos Youth Centre
– a Walk Thru the Bible supported Children’s Project
Kairos Youth Centre, run by Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Tembisa has continued ministering to the children and youth in their community by means of regular outreach programmes. This has included Bible teaching with lessons on the Book of Colossians and Matthew. Open discussions have covered topics such as: ‘Is the Bible real?’ ‘The Existence of God’ and ‘The Meaning of Purity’.
The Centre has also been able to minister to some of the physical needs of the young people and has been able to provide transport for the youth attending the ministry sessions – as well as meals, snacks and refreshments. Food parcels were also provided for some families. The Centre has further been able minister to the community through the distribution of blankets and school shoes.
