60 pastors, youth leaders and children’s ministry leaders gathered on a cold Friday morning – all with the united vision of helping children and young people engage with the Bible. An outstanding theme was reigniting the culture and passion for youth ministry, and renewing a
passion for getting the youth into the Word of God.
The morning included a presentation on otLIVE and training in otSTORIES** – a new easy-to- use curriculum for Sunday School, youth ministry and family devotions. Many of the attendees were excited to be using the curriculum at their church’s holiday clubs and vacation Bible
schools.
The event was run in collaboration with Scripture Union – a partnership which is bearing much fruit. As Njabula, one of the Scripture Union workers, shared:
“Many Christian movements in schools have died down, but otSTORIES is a simple but engaging curriculum that can really help revitalise the student Christian movement. I love that it involves everyone. It’s not just listening, but draws people in. “
