60 people gathered on a grey Thursday morning at Dlamini Church of the Nazarene to learn how the major people, places and events in the Bible fit together – and all in a fun and interactive way through otLIVE

Why would someone bring otLIVE to their church? For Ayanda Mbayela the answer was simple:
“I see that many people go to church, but they don’t understand how the messages and stories all fit together. I knew that otLIVE could really help with this. Some people also cannot read, so for them to learn the big picture of the Bible in a playful manner, without taking notes, is a big
deal.”
Ayanda’s vision doesn’t stop at the church walls. She dreams of otLIVE reaching people in open public spaces, sparking conversations with those who feel the Bible is too confusing to engage with.
“I regularly speak to people on the streets about the Bible – and people often tell me that they don’t understand what the Bible is all about. I believe that otLIVE could open a dialogue with many people, as it will help them understand the big picture of God’s plan, and that the Bible is also a tool to help us understand ourselves. otLIVE could help draw people into the church.”
After otLIVE, some of the younger participants were immediately inspired to start teaching the Bible themselves.
As one young participant put it:
“Some people have taught the Word of God in a boring way, but today, as a young person, I was not bored at all!”
