We are excited to
announce the launch of Million Leaders Mandate Volume II in Southern
Africa. This anticipated follow-on to MLM Volume
I, formally done in 2004 – 2006, will start with the training of
Associate
Trainers on 15 October 2008 and publicly launch in January
2009.
NOTE: the 15 October training is to train Associate Trainers, it is the level
above the normal MLM Notebook trainings that you attended with Volume 1.
What is MLM Volume II?
This is the second Volume in the MLM curriculum. Just like in MLM Volume I,
Volume II consists of a six Notebooks, each containing six lessons.
Volume II Notebooks are each based on best-selling books by John C. Maxwell;

Though based on the books, the Notebooks have been adapted into the MLM
strategy which includes the three areas that we believe are critical to ongoing
leadership development:
Spiritual Formation: Integrity, Ethics, Humility, Motives, Core Values.
Skill Formation: Developing People, Communicating, Team Building,
Problem Solving.
Strategic Formation: Effective Planning, Priorities, Vision.

How does it work?
A brief history: MLM Volume I (from 2004 – 2006) was introduced through regular
events (every six months) across southern Africa.
Each of these main events was arranged by Equip SA and saw international
speakers (Associate Trainers) teach leaders. These leaders then took it one level further, teaching those in their circle of influence.
The next step: MLM Volume II will build on this leadership foundation and take
it one step further by training our own Associate Trainers (ATs) to teach these
leaders again in the next volume.

The launch training on 15 October, known as the Square One event, is to train
these ATs, who will in turn take MLM Volume II to the trainers.
The free workbooks and motivational book gifts are not part of MLM Volume II.
You will have access and rights to the workbook pdf's though to make your own
copies, if needed. Workbooks will also be available to purchase.
What is an Associate Trainer?
A prospective AT needs to have a 'two-tier' teaching potential. This means an
AT must have access to a structure that allows him/her to train multiple
trainers, who in turn can train leaders.
ATs are trained on invitation or application and the Square One event is not
open to the public. After qualifying, an AT will facilitate own public
trainings in locally organised, self funded events. Equip SA offers support in
training equirements and marketing events, where possible. A trained and certified AT is qualified to train all six the Volume
II notebooks. There may be catch up events held, from time to time if
necessary. Notebooks 1 – 6 will then be supplied at the timing discretion of
Equip and the AT can take it at the pace that best suites its region. Thus, the ATs determine the pace and flow of this Volume II.
What is a Square One event?
After being accepted to attend the Square One event, send us your registration
form along with the training fee.
Only 40 ATs will be trained at a Square One event.
Training will take place on one full day.
Venue will be in Johannesburg, Victory Park
region, still to be announced.
