By becoming a certified Solving
the People Puzzle instructor through a process of self-discovery, learning to
understand others and improving relationships, you'll master practical skills
for building stronger relationships.
Through a process of
self-discovery, learning to understand others and improving relationships,
you'll master practical skills for building stronger relationships. In a move
far beyond mere behavioural analysis, you'll discover how to apply all you've
learned as you love, serve and relate to others. More than this, you'll be
thoroughly equipped to take others on the same life changing journey.
By being certified as a Solving the People Puzzle instructor you will have an
increased opportunity for personal ministry (both in the Christian and secular
environments), see God's Word change lives, optionally earn additional income
and you will enhance the effectiveness of your own communication. The next
training takes place on 11 to 12 November 2008 in Johannesburg.
Have you ever sat in a conference room, looked across the table at a colleague,
and wondered why in the world he acts the way he does and says the things he
says? Have you been frustrated while working on a project with co-workers who
have a different method, a different means, and apparently even a different
mentality? Have you ever been confused by the wide-ranging—and alarmingly
conflicting—personalities of your children?
Would you like to exchange your confusion, frustration, and alarm for synergy,
productivity, and peace? If so, Walk Thru the Bible has an amazing tool to help
you do just that. It's 'Solving the People Puzzle', an eye-opening seminar that
will help you understand yourself and others—and help you bring together
diverse personalities and characteristics into a smooth-functioning, mutually
affirming team.
'Solving the People Puzzle' is a four-hour seminar that can produce lifelong
change. When people discover their strengths and weaknesses and begin to
understand why they think the way they do (and why others think differently),
the result can be powerful. Participants begin to see why God designed each of
us with a unique personality and how He intends for the variety to be an asset
rather than a liability. Each person begins to feel valued for who they are.
God made all of us different - not to cause arguments or irritation, but to add
variety in our relationships, to provide strengths for our weaknesses and to
build the Body of Christ. If approached wisely, relationships can be among the
most rewarding experiences. Yet it seems to take a lifetime to gain the insight
that makes communication satisfying. If you want to help other people to have
that kind of discernment right now, then you are ready for the 'Solving the
People Puzzle' instructor training.
Using a highly effective personal discovery tool, insights are gained to help
attendees work, live, and interact in harmony. This event, however, is not
simply a secular behavioral science course. 'Solving the People Puzzle' starts
with the foundation of Scriptural principles and in a few short hours brings
skills that work for a lifetime.
During the training, you will be equipped with three behavioral-style based
courses: 'Solving the People Puzzle', 'Sharpening Your People Skills' and
'Understanding the Love of Your Life'. Similar innstructure, these modules are
each designed for a distinctly different audience, those being Christian,
secular and couples respectively. In addition, you'll gain a firm grasp of the
DISC behavioral language, improve your communication and facilitation skills
and benefit from ongoing support and skill refinement.
This training event is not intended for those who merely want a personal grasp
on the subject of people skills. Rather, this particular event is designed for
those select few who are called to teach others.
The next 'Solving the People Puzzle' instructor training runs from 11 to 12
November 2008 in Johannesburg,
South Africa.
This day conference will take place at a quality, five-star venue. For
out-of-town attendees accommodation is optionally available at own arrangement
and cost – please enquire upon registration.

Build Stronger
Relationships By Solving the People Puzzle "...be
perfectly joined together in mind and thought." (I Corinthians 1:10)
God has made us all unique team mates. We are diverse in abilities, functions,
gifts, dispositions and personality traits. Each of us is needed for the smooth
workings of the church, home and workplace. God made us, like pieces of a
puzzle, in our different sizes and shapes to come together for the glory of
Jesus Christ. Too often, however, our differences lead to conflict and
incompatibility. We simply have problems dealing with some people and
situations. It's because of these people problems that the Solving the People
Puzzle conference has been designed.
Put the Pieces Together
·
During your live
conference you will learn new insights about yourself, your family, co-workers
and friends that will help you love and serve others more effectively.
·
Sharpen your
perception of other personalities to see each person as a unique individual.
·
Understand why people
act the way they do, and how to anticipate their actions.
·
Minimise tension in
relationships and learn how to relate to difficult people.
·
Realise the freedom in
being yourself and in allowing others to be who they are.
See the Whole Picture
·
Self-DiscoveryUsing a
highly effective personality discovery tool, you'll learn about your own
God-given strengths and talents. The insights you'll gain will reveal more about
yourself than you've ever learned before.
·
Identify your ideal
work environment, relational needs, strengths and weaknesses.
Understanding Others
·
You'll gain a clearer
understanding of the basic personality types and how each is motivated most effectively.
You'll discover why those closest to you react the way they do.
Improving Relationships
·
You'll learn practical
skills for building stronger relationships.
·
In a move far beyond
the behavioural profiles, you'll discover how to apply all you've learned as
you love, serve and relate to others.
"Accept one another then,
just as Christ accepted you." (Romans 15:7)
Jesus' acceptance of us is unconditional. He affirms us as unique and distinct
persons. We haven't been made for discord that divides and destroys
relationships. In just a few short hours, your 'Solving the People Puzzle'
conference-starting with the foundation of Scriptural principles-will give you
people skills that will stay with you for a lifetime. No matter what role you
fill in life - spouse, boss, employee, parent, child, teacher or friend - you
will add to the knowledge you already have about the people in your life, and
discover how to make all your relationships grow and flourish.
4. Details on 'Sharpening Your People Skills'
(The newly revised 'Sharpening
Your People Skills' workbook is the same as 'Solving the People Puzzle', except
that it does not contain any Christian content in the workbook. It is thus
suitable for secular contexts. Use it as a bridge-builder to reach out to the
world.)
5. Details on 'Understanding the Love of Your Life '
(There is no Christian content in
the revised workbook. It is thus suitable for both Christian and secular
contexts. Use it as a bridge-builder to reach out to the world. This course is
ideal for engaged and married couples and is a powerful tool for pre-marital
counselling.)
God uniquely created the husband and the wife for one another - to complement
each other, to overcome the problem of individual aloneness, and to experience
a vital, shared intimacy - teamwork at its best! Too often, however, the very
characteristics that drew couples together before marriage can become sources
of conflict after the vows have been taken.
That's where Understanding the Love of Your Life can help.
Instead of growing together over the years, couples find themselves drifting
emotionally as they focus more on activities, children, and their own personal
pursuits. Understanding the Love of Your Life offers a refreshing opportunity
for husbands and wives to rediscover how God made them especially for each
other. This seminar focuses on improving compatibility, deepening
communication, and increasing versatility through humour and practical
insights.
Using a fun and insightful personality discovery tool, couples will soon be on
the road to greater understanding of each other, and ultimately a more joyful,
fulfilling marriage. God gave husbands and wives strengths and weaknesses in
different areas so that together they could be complete as a team.
By understanding the love of their lives, couples will experience marital
teamwork at its best!
