The next High Impact Network Gauteng Consultation is on 10 May 2008

The High Impact Network will host 3 annual consultation events in Gauteng. The 2008 dates are 10 May, 16 August and 8 November. The goal of these consultation events are for you, as the pastor, to bring your key leadership and church members for training in each of their area of ministry.

This event is ONLY open to churches that are part of the High Impact Network.  And it is FREE!!

 

Registration for this event is essential as there is limited space available.  You will receive more information in the next High Impact Network newsletter.  The High Impact Network Gauteng Consultation on 10 May 2008 will start at 9am and finish at 5pm.  The program commences with a plenary session, followed by various break-away training events. These simultaneously run sessions are:


6.1. Growing a High Impact Youth (10 May 2008). This training is geared towards children, youth and young adult leaders.

6.2. How to understand the people in your church (10 May 2008).

Solving the People Puzzle will help you become a better friend, spouse, pastor and church board member. You will learn how God has placed people in your life to bring balance, perspective and protection. There are 3 sessions: Understanding Yourself; Valuing Yourself and Others and Developing your Versatility.

6.3. Learn how to brainstorm a strategy for reaching out to your community
(10 May 2008).

  • Topic: The Law of Community from the course, How to Grow a High Impact Church. TEAM training is a method which will help you and your church leadership team to build a strategy for each area of your church's ministries.  You will determine where you are, dream about the future, design a strategy and deliver an action plan. 6.4. How to identify the needs in your community (10 May 2008).

This breakout session, hosted by turn the tide 4 children, will introduce you to important principles for working with communities to meet significant needs. Your church will be equipped with a user-friendly tool that you can take back to your community to help identify needs and potential solutions with key role players.

6.5. How to preach for lifechange (10 May 2008).

Preaching makes or breaks a church. This seminar, facilitated by a local facilitator and presented by Rick Warren on DVD, aims to help you, the pastor, move beyond good communicating to changing lives.
