1. HIGH IMPACT CHURCH ACTIVITY

South Africa

High Impact Network

Sibusiso Shange, from the High Impact Church department, visited 6 fraternals in Gauteng to introduce pastors to the High Impact Network.

Springs, Gauteng:  20 pastors, representing 20 churches, attended the meeting. 14 pastors signed up for the High Impact Network. Many of them took extra Network application forms to distribute among pastors, friends and church leadership.  Feedback from the event: “We are so exited about the opportunity to be in the network with Gauteng pastors"; "If this kind of network was introduced to us years ago, we would have been very far by now"; "Churches must really take God's business seriously to reach out to the lost".

Daveyton, Benoni: Sibusiso met with the Benoni Pastors’ Forum. 13 pastors attended, (representing 13 churches) of which 6 churches signed up for the High Impact Network.  Some of the pastors wanted to discuss the Network with their leadership first before signing up.

Vosloorus, Gauteng: 12 pastors attended the meeting. The majority of pastors that attended were older and Sibusiso had to explain the Network in great detail. The presentation was done in the pastors’ own language.  Most of these pastors expressed that they first wanted to think about the Network before signing up.  Feedback from this meeting: "Thank God for Walk Thru the Bible, for their generosity in inviting our church to be park of the Kingdom impact"; "This network is going to be a stepping stone to what we have neglected to do as churches out of the three principles: lost people coming to Christ, members growing to maturity and significant needs being met in the community."
