On 28 July 2007, six members of the team were hijacked in Walkerville, south of Johannesburg, while on their way to the Silver Ring Thing office in Johannesburg. They were held for four hours, whilst the hijackers searched the minibus, removing signature designs and tracking devices. After being robbed of their belongings and driven around, they were released, mostly unharmed. Just some of the news coverage that this incident got:
