Walk Thru the Bible USA restructures for global ministry impact
On the
5th July 2007 Walk Thru the Bible USA announced that it has restructured to maximise
ministry impact on its global discipleship ministry that has conducted
live training or distributed resources in nearly 100 countries. "God's
calling for Walk Thru the Bible is to be a global catalyst for
discipleship," said Dr. John Isch, Walk Thru the Bible USA's Chairman
of the Board. "The international regional directors are asking for more
teaching, training, and tools. The international ministry is our unique
contribution to the Great Commission in this era of history," Dr. Isch
added.
Chairman Dr. Isch said, "Walk Thru the Bible USA will develop resources for the church worldwide, with Biblical, life changing resources developed with multiple gifted authors and communicators. This group will be led by Martin Deacon, Senior Vice President of Publishing and Seminars, a 15-year veteran of Walk Thru the Bible South Africa and a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary."
Chip Ingram, President of Living on the Edge, which will now become a separate ministry, added, "The best way for me to serve in my long term calling is to focus on my teaching ministry and be available for teaching and training events internationally. I will be stepping aside from my responsibilities of organisational oversight as president of Walk Thru the Bible USA. In my new role as Teaching Pastor and Global Strategist for Walk Thru the Bible International, I will focus solely on the development and empowerment of the international ministry, and I encourage other authors and communicators to prayerfully consider partnering with Walk Thru the Bible to do the same."
James Massa has been appointed as interim CEO while conducting an executive search for this position. Mr. Massa has worldwide experience at companies such as Cisco Systems, and ministry experience at Crown Financial Ministries and Fellowship of Companies for Christ International. He has served at Walk Thru the Bible in a consulting role since December 2006.
